Steve Lowe
Investment Committee Member
Steve, has worked in the Global Finance and Commodity Industries for over 35 years, with significant experience in the physical, financial and logistical aspects of these markets, with particular focus on the energy and carbon sectors over the last twenty years. He has successfully executed transactions around the globe.
Steve has a unique blend of experience and success in not only the trading aspects of these markets but also how to combine all aspects of the chain, from structured finance, debt and capital raising, distribution and marketing strategies and advisory positions. This success and experience has been in widely varied roles, working for banks, public and private corporations and government owned institutions, proving that Steve has a strong ability and vision to adapt to the unique requirements of any institution in any market circumstance. In the last twenty years, Steve has gained further stature in senior executive, general management and as a serving Board member, including Chairing a publicly listed company.
In essence, Steve brings a wide ranging breadth of skill, knowledge and experience to any team. Not only are these demonstrable and considerable contributions in his field of expertise, he brings Board experience, executive leadership skills and senior management experience, having served on Executive OH & S, Audit and regulatory committees, but also on Board Committees for Retail Strategies, Trading and Regulatory Compliance in regards to financial distribution.
Mark Ryan
Investment Committee Member
Mark has enjoyed a successful career, spanning over 40 years in the Financial Services sector. During this time, he has covered a variety of roles and has been exposed to a range of responsibilities that have allowed him to develop expertise across many aspects of the industry.

Having begun his career in banking with Westpac where he developed his managerial capabilities, Mark moved to stockbroking with ANZ Stockbroking and then into financial planning with William Mercer where he used his financial knowledge, business acumen and relationship skills to successfully build a significant client base.

Over the ensuing years Mark broadened his experience in senior roles including; Business Development Manager and Head of Distribution for Australian Financial Services, Head of Financial Services/ Advice for Anne Street Partners, CEO for Financial Planning Services Australia (owned by NetWealth), Director of Client Relations for Triple A Super. Furthermore, Mark has led special projects, operated as a consultant and been a company director for a number of Financial Services companies.

Mark brings with him deep insight into investment funds and how they work, having engaged extensively with us research houses, platforms, dealer groups, fund managers, stockbrokers and risk companies. Mark has previously served on Investment Committees, Compliance Committees and Executive Committees and applies his professional knowledge to inform research, due diligence and investment decisions.
