Stuart Haley
Managing Director
Stuart Haley is a veteran of technical business operations, with over twenty years of relevant experience in transforming and running mission-critical services. Stuart brings a wealth of international experience, having worked in a range of cultures across North America, Europe and APAC. He has held senior leadership and strategy consulting roles in a variety of organisations and sectors. Stuart has a clear focus on operational effectiveness through strong Corporate Governance and is well versed in both implementing systems and improving commercial performance.
Gayle Alchin
Director & Accounts Manager
Gayle Alchin is a Director of Bateau Asset Management and Managing Director of the Ballast Group of Companies with over 25 years of experience working within accounts departments in the motor industry and steel industry with the last 10 years spent at Ballast. Facilitating the set up of the Corporate Accounting and Administration Team and overseeing all the facets of business within the Ballast entities including the offices in Singapore.
Gayle has been with Bateau Asset Management since inception and has been an integral part of the ongoing operations.
Kirsten Baldwin
Accounts Administration
After finishing High School in 2011, Kirsten started at Robinson Buildtech initially as a Receptionist in April 2012. She was promoted soon after to an administrator of the Building Maintenance & Plumbing Services, where she helped implement a new web based job management software program and carried out major contract transitions including large Local, State and Federal Government contracts.

In April 2015 Kirsten joined the Ballast Group of Companies as an Administration Officer and quickly became an integral part of the administrative team handling accounts, payroll, HR and marketing. When Bateau Asset Management was established in 2016 Kirsten took on the administration and accounts payable/receivable role.
June Heng
Corporate Accountant
June earnt a Bachelor (Hons) of Accounting and Finance from the University of West England in 2013, and a Global MBA from Curtin University in 2017. June has over 5 years experience in preparing income tax returns for various small to large entities and is a Certified Accountant by CPA Australia. June joined Ballast Accountants in 2021 and prepares the Income Tax Returns for Bateau Asset Management Pty Ltd.
